Read the Stage 1 Report to find out what we heard from local people

Camden Council is developing a Community Vision for Gospel Oak and Haverstock - a planning framework that will help to define a vision for the future of the neighbourhood and support its regeneration. To make sure those changes reflect the wishes of local people, make:good was commissioned to lead community engagement around the development of the Community Vision, involving local residents, businesses, workers, community groups and all other stakeholders who have an interest in the area.

Stage 1 of our programme of engagement ran between October 2020 and July 2021. The earlier months of engagement were almost exclusively online due to Government restrictions around the pandemic, but targeted and effective measures were taken in the latter part of Stage 1 to offer a wider range of ways for people to have their say.

The team have been on guided walks around Gospel Oak and Haverstock with members of key community groups and local residents. Once they were again permitted under Government guidelines, workshops were also arranged in the local community.

Despite a difficult year we heard from 460 residents via the survey and over 200 residents in person on a range of matters of importance for future change in the area.

We have collated all our findings in the Stage 1 report which you can find here .
